The nagging mistress in his life
Kept bugging him to leave his wife
Yet he repeated same ol’ tune
“Patience my dear, I told you, soon”
But her persistence gnawed at him
So one night almost on a whim
He texted her a fond goodbye
Then she replied “I hope you die!”
For days she cried (gals tend to dwell)
His only thought? “That ended well!”
That Ended Well!
